Not "Secret", but "Private."

 

While Mike went public with his health issue last year, I am just telling a few friends.

 

The reason I did not tell Eileen Jeff and Christine when I told you was that Paul was present. He is just an acquaintance and I did not wish to discuss it in front of him.

 

I"ve had a version of this conversation with my mother as well. She told my priest buddy. I think her reasons were for the good, but he took it as a conversation about friends. He told a tremendous number of people. That was not wanted, and has made me VERY uncomfortable.

 

As I know more, I'll tell more, but if the venue is public, I will not want to talk.

 

Just a different way of doing things than Mike did.
