Subject: LB update

Well, we had an interesting day today.

 

They wish me to meet with the doctor and a representative of Inamed on My 16th.  The one negative that exists is that they may do a surgery for the hiatal hernia at the same time.

 

They offered the week between Memorial Day and June 3, but I have a family responsibility June 1-3. So, now we are discussing the week before or after Father's Day,

 

If it is the week AFTER, then I would need to cancel JC's MS 150 Deck Party XII. If it is the week before, then I might be able to have it. We will make that decision once we have a date set.

 

I will just be a MS volunteer this year,  no ride for me. I had hoped to do the one in September in Cleveland, but the doctor said NO.  Once I get my BP to a certain number and a certain number of pounds off, I can return to the trail, but he states that would be months off. I still would hope to do Bubbafest, as that is flat and easy 50 miles a day.  It is good to have goals.
